This article was of great interest due to the fact it confirms the modern cultural addiction to selfish gain. Specifically in the west, however, so many seem shocked by the rise of Trump. It does not seem surprising that finally, an embodiment of past selfishness has been elected. Ultimately, change is usually forced upon people before the effects are seen. This unfortunately is die to an understanding of quite how much of an impact our western world has upon other parts of the globe.
More than ever art seems a vital tool to aim to progress societal change. However, a need for a more deep rooted movement is needed to alter mind sets rather than a single vote.
