Ba1a Reflection- Improvement and progression for Ba1b
After receiving feedback from my tutor I have contemplated possible improvements to move forward with my creative practice.
The concept of factual and conceptual research providing a base for all my work is an aspect I will indisputably be carrying along with me. However, this depth of thought and concept needs to reflect fully in my practice. Material practice specifically and experimentation. Multidisciplinary aspects would be beneficial to this, along with research into artists that have a heavy focus on using a range of media. Modern artistic practice would also be beneficial, possible networking with this would help improvement by way of conveying concepts to audiences. The written work within this module is also an aspect I would like to continue with, to develop the essay with further writing. Written work would encourage the audience to engage with pieces of work and therefore achieve the aim of it becoming activism. Social interaction is pivotal to my practice, therefore a written piece may enable this. In the future I hope to experiment with written and filmed reflection of the work to guide the audience to understanding of the intended message.

Individual targets remain; mainly to not overthink some aspects of my work. To allow free flowing development. This would then sit slightly separately as a more practical way of improving my material attachments to my practice.
Feedback from this unit led me well to decide which specific workshops would best help me develop the practical side of my work.
