The Norwich Radical
Progressive work and publications
The Norwich Radical is a publication focusing on progressive arts and politics. Writers volunteer to become part of the collective and are selected after submitting sample work. I myself did just that and have been asked to become a regular contributor to the website. This is a helpful platform to allow others to read and research your own views and concerns. I wish to focus a lot of my articles around climate change and the opportunity that the young creative minds of today have to change such.  Hopefully, the articles will co-en side well with my art practice and allow further development of my concept and a clearer angle to progress through.

This article https://thenorwichradical.com/2017/01/17/a-green-revolution/, touches briefly upon the fact that action must be through our everyday habits. This is what will effect corporations the most. Along with this, the public must be shown evidence of the changes happening. The link must be presented between floods in India and shipment of plastics to the UK. Therefore, if the public can see the changes that will eventually effect thier grand children, they will be more likely to actively change their habits.

'A public with little interest in climate change is unlikely to push for policies that actually address the problem, said study author William Anderegg, a postdoctoral research associate in the Princeton Environmental Institute who studies communication and climate change. "If public interest in climate change is falling, it may be more difficult to muster public concern to address climate change," Anderegg said. "This long-term trend of declining interest is worrying and something I hope we can address soon."'

Studies published such as this 'How predictable is technological progress are interesting as they could possible hold the facts needed to stop plans to 'control the weather'. Instead of reducing the active impacts of climate change through global warming. However, ultimately, projection is very little use due to the independent variables that will alter the outcome at every step.
