Where do we come from?
Where are we going?
This exhibition was inspired by NASA/ESA Hubble telescope and the images from such. This exhibition was very interesting due to the stylistic differences between the historic Palazzo Franchetti and the Space exhibition.
'Science is no more than an investigation of a miracle, we can never explain, and art is an interpretation of that miracle...'
The use of sculpture, mosaic and video were combined to show a short but lasting memory of the world we live in and the greater setting we are part of. Although the themes of the exhibition differ from my own I found myself interested greatly in the different media used throughout and the effect created. Specifically the use of mosaic, this was due to the parallels seen in religious and historical settings. Therefore, I began to see how the same technique has been used throughout history.
