-Elpida Hadzi-Vasiteva- Installation works of large scale; I have never seen an artists work that I have disagree with more. This presentation made me feel very sick and her lack of awareness of her practice shocked me. She continued the presentation as if the use of animals body parts was a normal material to use. The appropriation of another body and organs is an unacceptable artistic medium. This artist and her work was an embodiment of 'modern privileged'. The stark irony of her practice was laughable, using the inside material of animals to embody themes such as 'death' was morbid and dis-respectable. Her reference to the difficulty in cleaning these materials took me by surprise. I was moments away from reminding her that this is because the material should remains within the animal it belongs to. If such exhibitions were done using human flesh there would be outrage, even if the humans were ('already dead'). I was further shocked by the applauding audience, especially when many people after slated her for her vile practice.

-Gen Day- 'A lovers voice' poetic nature to the spoken word work. This work analysed contemporary communication-emotive due to the viewing conditions of dark with no visual aid. This allowed the spoken word to resonate. The recorded spoken word will live and survive even if we do not. The theories and concepts use underpin the work but do not control it. this is an aspect that I can learn from due to the fact my own work is currently fully controlled by research I so. This really overrides much of my practice currently. Mich of this artists work was socio-political and used a similar setting to 'display this'. This was described as research in action.
