13th December- Curating meeting

Curation Meeting

In today's meeting we delegated jobs between us and decided what we would send out to the artists, Including proposal forms  etc. 
We also organised dates and a photography sweets. 

However, although this may seem organised it is difficult to ensure people are all there together. Many people work, as I do, I work around 20 hours a week and manage to attend the meetings. It is not acceptable for someone o not come as they are at work and expect us to chase them up to tell them all the info.
 Further to this, I am personally more concerned with outside of univeristy things as these will matter more as we progress and leave university. The interim show is a type of trial run and to see who is better suited to curatorial roles. 





Message to artists-

Hey guys,
Attached is a project proposal form that we need you to fill out before the 1st Jan and email to rosiegreen@student.nua.ac.uk. this includes the written piece about your work.

We would ideally like you to be finishing all of your work around the 12th jan. We will be meeting in the white space that day at 12:00 so if you have anything you'd like to talk to us about please come and have a chat. 

We will be photographing all of your work on the 16th Jan. So please insure that you bring your work to the St Georges photography sweet for 10am
18th Jan- Exhibition install
22nd Jan- Exhibition critique
