Audience Response;
Response: Laura’s work was really well engaged in a very focused issue which I felt not only made the viewer aware of this really quite outrageous issue but also conceptually it was presented fantastically in both physical and projected form. It summed up the idea of consent in a really clever way and I’m really excited to see how this could maybe be made interactive in the future.
Both curators and exhibitors took the concept of research for the exhibition and presented it in a very exciting and engaging way. I think the interactive parts of the exhibition were very successful and I really think the idea of process and pre-final work should be on display in exhibitions more often, this exhibition showing just how creatively it can be shown and responded too. I would love to see this type of exhibition again with new artists, possibly in another space to see how it would differ.
