'How Text Lives' Poster
(digitalisation of process/final outcome)
Collaborative Designing with 2nd ear graphic student.
This poster was made as a result of a collaborative process between myself and a graphic design student. I made the background image by hand writing the text repeatedly on paper. I then sent a number of images over to him and he worked them together along with the information. I had drafted a few sketches to show him however letting him take full creative reign was more beneficial. This is due to the fact I wanted the information to be clear and effectively presented. I feel he has achieved this effectively, much more effectively than I would have been able to. If I had made this poster it would have taken much longer and not have been the same level of quality. I feel working across practices and courses is important to see how creative partnerships might be merged and used later. Graphic design is so broadly intertwined into modern day that its use extends well into the fine art world and creative sphere.
